A Thankful Attitude- A Way to Your Next Level- 1

Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 5:18-19-KJV

18 In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

19 Quench not the Spirit.

Reflection.

Yesterday, we studied the word “delay.” The Hebrew, dictionary, and biblical perspectives all provided clearer explanations of the delay. According to what was said, delays happen to see how persistent you are. The degree of your belief can be determined by other important characteristics, such as persistence. Your beliefs will be put to the test even if you continue to have blind faith, according to Luke 11:7-8.

It’s critical to know what to do when delays in life or in your ministry occur. Let me start by quoting from Philippians 2, verse 5, which says, “Let this mind be in you, which also was in Christ Jesus.” And if I may ask, what mindset did Christ have that we must maintain? I deduced from today’s scripture that the key to moving on to the next level is to have “a thankful attitude” in your mind. Let’s take this further considering the scriptures.

Many Christians lack the knowledge necessary to walk in victory, perhaps as a result. The Children of Israel could be used as an example to further explain these. They may have died in the wilderness for a reason, but they were God’s children, and I want to know the “why” behind the “what.” What prevented them from reaching the promised land? However, I found that their prolonged stagnation was the result of a poor attitude.

Furthermore, the children of Israel lacked any kind of optimistic outlook for the future. They were so apathetic that they relied entirely on Moses, and if they did not assume any responsibility, they spent a protracted period in the wilderness. God intended for Joshua to assume a higher level of responsibility when He announced that Moses had passed away. Many of you who are reading this text have new work with God that needs to be done, but you must stand up and accept responsibility because it is time to advance to your next stage of life.

Listen, it is one thing to receive God’s anointing; it is quite another to allow that anointing to flow through you. Consider Mary’s alabaster box. Until the alabaster box was broken and the perfume was poured out, nothing happened. In other words, we possess positive qualities, but the box needs to be opened, and among the contents of this box are your “ATTITUDES.”

Finally, your next level is depended on your attitude towards God.

Hmmmm! What a blessing it is to hear these words now. I assure you that there is more to be learned from the history of the Israelite children. Please come with me tomorrow as we explore some of the attitudes that kept the Israelites on their journey for between 40 days and 40 years.

Prayer.

Dear Lord! In everything we just want to give thanks which we have learned from scriptures that it is the will of God in Christ concerning us. Please, help us to be always thankful, Amen.

Please share…………

Blessing……………….
