Attitude is Everything

Attitude is Everything

Scripture: Zechariah 4:10

“For whom hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.”

Small beginnings frequently call for commitment and dedication. What you have started will require many hours of work. Having setbacks in one form or another is not uncommon. The most crucial thing is to persist and never give up. Scripture gives us hope. Small beginnings frequently entail laborious work, mundane tasks, long hours, and little encouragement because no one is present to witness your efforts and commend you for them.

That being said, no matter what God has promised you, if your attitude isn’t capable of handling it, you won’t be able to receive it, and even if it does, it will undoubtedly take longer than you anticipate. Therefore, the secret to your breakthrough lies in the way you view everything in life. Please consider the children of Israel as a case study for how God made promises to them and how they ultimately fulfilled them by wandering in the wilderness for years as opposed to days because of their attitude.

I deduced that if the Israelites did not obey God now or in the future, He would use their children, followed by their children’s children, and so on, based on what I had learned from their attitude. Do you share my opinion regarding this? However, it’s just an Israelite reference.

1-How would you and without supervision rate your current attitude towards your job, business, career, ministry, etc? Do you think God will be pleased with your current attitude if physically assessed?

2-How does this scripture “do not despise the days of little beginning” resonate with your current attitude status?

3- How would you handle responsibilities giving to you in response to Zechariah 4:10?

May our good Lord help our attitudes towards God and man in Jesus’ name, Amen.
