Reflection.

The result of our sinful nature, old man, and the flesh is a lack of prayer. The Holy Spirit is causing our new man to lack prayer. A strong prayer life filled with dramatic answers is always the work of God in and through us, so we can never take pride in our prayer lives. Praying at all times in the spirit with all supplication and prayer is what the Holy Spirit does, according to the Bible. In order to achieve this, stay vigilant and persistently implore the help of the saints. in Ephesians 6:18

The Holy Spirit works with us as we try to learn how to pray. Similarly, the Spirit supports us when we are weak because we don’t pray as much as we should. However, the Spirit Himself prays on our behalf, groaning inexpressibly. Rom. 8:26

Christ responded by directing the disciples to the Holy Spirit when they asked Him to teach them how to pray. “Lord, guide us in prayer.” How much more will your Heavenly Father grant requests for the Holy Spirit? Luke 11:1,13. The Holy Spirit enables us to pray continuously because He is a praying Spirit. Say “Pray without ceasing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:17b

Christ made it possible for His disciples to pray for an hour when He instructed them to do so for one hour. Could you not watch for an hour with me? Matthew 26:40 says to watch and to pray so that you won’t succumb to temptation.

In conclusion, we gain knowledge on how to combat lack of prayer. Then, make sure to put what you learn into practice and stay away from what needs to be avoided.
