God’s Divine Timing

God’s Divine Timing

Scripture: Ecclesiastical 3:1-8

Focus: Ecclesiastes 3:1 To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

God’s timing does not negate the value of your timing or the need for you to respect our time and schedule. It simply means that everything happens in God’s perfect time, not ours, and that He knows everything. We still have a lot of hard work and improvement to do with our faith! Let’s examine this expression in more detail!

We need to understand that God has a central point from which every aspect of our lives operates, whether individually or corporately. That area is called “timing.” From the operation of that one word, lives can move forward with God or hindered. Nations can advance spiritually, or regress. Life in the Spirit realm has a timing to it just as life in the natural.

Therefore, it is vitally important for us to follow the leading of our Spirit. We must learn that it is not always right to move into action because it seems like the things to do. This kind of obedience only comes from seasons of prayer and Intercession.

But before I go, let me share with you a personal experience that I had after years of learning. When you disobey God and leave after two months of waiting on something after He commands you to wait for six months in the hopes of finding a greener pasture, I have noticed. For the next four months, you struggle until the precise timing is met, at which point you start to make progress. Though it’s possible that this isn’t the case for you, it certainly is for me. As a result, I’ve learned over the years to be patient and follow God’s guidance in everything from my job to my career to my ministry. You should all wait for God’s Divine Timing, I implore you.

Dear LORD: We might have made several mistakes in life journey so far by not following your leading. Today, we ask that you help us as we follow your leading in obedience and through seasons of prayer, fasting and Intercession, Amen.
