Scripture: Hebrews 10:17-21

17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter the holiest by the blood of Jesus,20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil his flesh.21 And having a high priest over the house of God;

The only way we can approach God is via the Lord Jesus Christ, not via the pope or the priest, Mary or the angels, good deeds or tears. “We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: by whom also we have access” (Romans 5:1, 2, 3). Let’s look at six ways that you can approach God through the blood of Jesus.

1.The blood of Jesus enables you to enter holy places-Hebrews 10:17-21

It is forbidden for wicked people to enter holy places. You have spent your entire life being barred from sacred locations due to your transgressions. Due to your evil nature, you have always been barred from entering the inner sanctuary. You can now enter the holiest and highest places because of the blood of Jesus. The curtain that has kept you outside of holy places can be parted by the blood of Jesus. Now that the curtain that kept you out has been broken.

2.Through the blood of Jesus you become bold in the presence of God-Hebrews 10:17-22

When in God’s presence, those who are wicked lack boldness due to their feelings of shame and guilt. They have strong guilt feelings and are conscious of their wickedness. Boldness is one of the many blessings that come to you via the blood of Jesus. The blood has covered the records, wiping away your sins. Shame prevents someone from acting bravely. He’s shy and timid because of his shame. Being shameless and confident despite one’s past transgressions is what it means to be bold. Being fearless in your relationship with your heavenly father is demonstrated by being bold through the blood of Jesus. You can now set aside your shyness and interact with God bravely. The records of your sin have been erased by the blood of Jesus. Because of Jesus’ blood, you are in God’s presence just like an angel.

3.Through the blood of Jesus you have supernatural peace-Colossians 1:19-22

God has granted you peace via the blood of Jesus. You enter a state of quietness or tranquilly when you experience this peace. You can have peace because of the blood of Jesus and be free from unsettling or controlling thoughts and feelings. You can have harmony in your personal relationships and peace of mind because of the blood of Jesus.

4.You can now feel the presence of God because of the blood of Jesus-Ephesians 2:12-16

By His blood, God has made us close. To be drawn near something is to be brought nearer to it. In this instance, the blood has drawn you nearer to God. Approaching someone implies that you have the freedom to move closer to them at any time. Jesus’ blood allows you to go farther in your relationship with God. Being close to someone indicates that you two will have common ground. God will deal with you on numerous occasions from now on! He will understand you as a friend and as a child.

5.Through the blood of Jesus you can now have communion with God-1Corinthians 10:16-17

We receive Communion by virtue of Jesus Christ’s blood! This implies that it is via the blood of Jesus Christ that we are granted intimacy and meaningful relationships. The close relationship we have, made possible by Jesus’ blood, with the Lord and other brethren is known as communion. I didn’t have deep, meaningful relationships with other Christians until I came to know Christ. One of the most priceless blessings of my second birth has been the community and camaraderie I have experienced in Christ. There are a lot of people in the world who struggle in their close relationships.

6.Through the blood of Jesus, we have a covenant with God-Hebrews 10:28-29

The blood of the covenant refers to the blood of Jesus. This is due to the fact that we can now genuinely establish a covenant with God. Consider that! a true covenant and agreement between Almighty God and a miserable sinner. This is the unique benefit that I now share with you. You are now irrevocably bound to God and heaven by a solemn agreement and a divine contract.

Lucifer is extremely enraged by this amazing blessing of being in a covenant with God. He finds it hard to comprehend that we will be in such a relationship with Jehovah. We need to be grateful for the opportunity God has given us to be so close to and have such easy access to Him.

Dear Father! Thank you for the privilege to gain access to you through your blood.
