Sin Number

Sin Number

Scripture: Jeremiah 1:5

KJV- “Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”

Wow! What an intriguing topic are we going to talk about today? It’s possible that a lot of people are curious about why we’re discussing this topic. The reason for this will become clear in a moment, but first allow me to share a quick anecdote about a coworker of mine and something he mentioned about SIN NUMBERS.

A few weeks ago, while we were both working, my good friend Mike initiated a conversation regarding the significance of SIN NUMBERS. It’s possible that not everyone is aware of what a sin number is and why it’s important, particularly people who live in other parts of the world like Africa. Please give me the opportunity to elaborate on that point. A Sin Number is an abbreviation with its full meaning to be a “Social Insurance Number,” it’s a number that a country’s government assigns to each of its citizens. This number may be referred to as a tracking number, which the government may use to track anyone who violates the law, or it may be used as an identity. Either way, the government could use this number. It’s interesting to note that these numbers are limited, but they hold all your information, and they only share it with the government of that nation. In addition, whenever the government has a need for your information, all they need is your SIN number, your first and last name, and they will have access to all the data that pertains to you.

This is some interesting information to have. In fact, Mike posed a very challenging inquiry to the group. He asked Bob, “Why do you think the government came up with the idea of sin numbers?” He continued, “Bob, I’m just curious.” Almost instantly, my thoughts turned to the biblical passage that we will be looking at today. My responses to Mike were taken straight from the Bible, specifically Jeremiah 1:5. According to the Bible, God knew each of us before we were even formed, and before we were even born from our mothers’ wombs, he had already sanctified us and given us the professions and gifts that we have today. On the other hand, this serves as a reminder to us that God also has a SIN NUMBER that identifies each of us as legitimate and qualified citizens of His kingdom.

Dear friends, if you do not have God’s sin number, also known as heaven’s sin number, then you are either a tourist, an immigrant who entered that country illegally, or you are on a work permit. If you do not have this number, then you fall into one of three categories. If you are familiar with the categories of people that I mentioned, then you may have noticed that the benefits that a bona fide citizen or a permanent resident are expected to receive are not extended to them in their entirety.

Hey! In the book of Revelation, chapter 3 verse 20, Jesus says, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” Here is an offer for you if you don’t already have one. Jesus says, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock.” You would almost certainly accept such an offer if it came from any government, since it would give you the right to freely enter and leave a developed country while maintaining your open visa status. Jesus is now making available to you an open visa that will allow you to obtain heaven’s sin number, which will identify you and provide you with a variety of benefits.

In addition, if you are unsure whether you have heaven’s sin number, all you must do is quickly submit an application for it. The only way to apply for this position is to pray to God and make your request to him…it’s that easy, isn’t it? It’s as easy as you could possibly think it would be. JESUS IS KNOCKING AT THE DOOR OF YOUR HEART RIGHT NOW, DON’T MISS THIS GREAT OPPORTUNITY.

Jesus, we thank you for the opportunities you have provided us to become citizens of your kingdom. I accept it and I commit to receiving you as my Lord and Savior today, and I also ask that you make me a good citizen of your kingdom, in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
