Scripture: Revelation 7:9-14

After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands.

10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,

12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.

13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, what are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?

14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, these are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

There is a large multitude in heaven as described in the book of Revelation. Apostle John was astounded by this enormous crowd taking in the sights and sounds of heaven. He inquired about the origins of these people from the angel escorting him around. He enquired, “How did they get here?” “They came here through the blood of Jesus,” was the straightforward response.

Yes, one of the wonders of heaven is how humans like us could enter such a place!

How did we get out of the jail that we deserved to be in? How did we escape the company of fornicators and murderers? How did we evade the death penalty that was applied to us? How did we escape the damnation decree? Who among us is aware of having created a pathway to heaven for us? Which influential person offered a word of support on our behalf? What role do similar individuals play in heaven? Where are our filthy rags and clothes?

In addition! Why are we wearing white clothing? Is this not a group of robbers, killers, and wicked people? Why are they belting out hymns? How could individuals who seldom attended church be admitted to heaven? Are they guests here? Will they remain here indefinitely?

Because of their salvation, the souls of this world will thank God forever. These days, churches hardly ever preach about salvation. But if Christians make it to heaven, salvation will be the most treasured gift they will talk about. When we pass from this life, consider how significant salvation and the blood of Jesus will be. By means of Jesus’ blood, God has bestowed upon us the gift of salvation.

My mission as a preacher is to make the blood of Jesus available to everyone on the planet! My goal in preaching is to ensure that the cross and Jesus’ blood are not in vain. We will sing hymns of gratitude for the precious gift of salvation that Jesus’ blood has given us!

Thank you, dear Lord! You made available for the blood through salvation that I might avoid hell and enter heaven. May all that I preach make the blood of Jesus available for all souls of this world, amen.

Please share.
