The Requirements for Obtaining

The-Requirements-for -Obtaining-jpg

 Scripture: PSALM 37:3-KJV

“TRUST IN THE LORD, AND DO GOOD; SO SHALT THOU DWELL IN THE LAND, AND VERILY THOU SHALT BE FED.”

 REFLECTIONS.

When we look for a job or anything else, this word immediately comes to mind. The phrase in question is known as “requirement.” Every job opportunity has a requirement or condition. Either you meet those requirements, or you should disregard the job offer. God has many requirements in his word that we must meet in order to receive the blessings he mentions throughout the Bible. I must admit that while these requirements are straightforward, they require discipline to be met.

However, the majority of Christians prefer to place conditions on God rather than supplying his requirements, which are always expressed by the straightforward conditional word “if.” The bible, for instance, states that if you “abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. You will be My disciples if you bear much fruit, which will glorify My Father. Remain in My love as I have loved you just as My Father has loved Me.

I’ve noticed that people frequently overlook or disregard the first requirement, which is plainly stated as “If you abide in me, you will ask what you desire….

According to the scripture, the prerequisite for asking is for you to remain in God and allow his Word to remain in you. This means that the only way you should approach God with a request is by abiding first. Isn’t this straightforward but challenging to follow?

David urges his audience to have faith in the Lord and act morally (Psalm 37:1-2) as he continues his wise advice. Trusting God and obeying Him go hand in hand; those two ideas cannot be separated. The goal of the book of James was to convey the idea that a sincere faith produces corresponding deeds. James 2:18 says, “Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.” James 2:26 states that “faith apart from works is dead” (Chapter 2 end). True faith produces good works that are consistent with that faith (John 14:15).

I found the following in our foundational scripture: “As with many of God’s commands, this isn’t just a mind exercise; it’s a mind AND body exercise. Action and emotion. It is also made abundantly clear at the beginning of Psalm 37, verse 3, that trusting in God entails more than merely placing our trust in Him and letting everything else fall into His hands.

Furthermore, I am aware that it is possible to live somewhere while not actually residing there. Take the “Tenant” and “Landlord” as a case study, for instance. While the landlord owns the home or building, the tenant pays rent to the landlord. God wants you to own the land rather than rent it in order to live there. However, there are requirements to own it.

 CONDITIONS TO DWELL.

1-Trust in the Lord completely

2-Do good always and not sometimes

 RESULTS OF FUFILLING THOSE CONDITIONS.

1-You shall dwell in the Land(Possess your Possessions)

2-And verily you shall be FED.

 Prayers.

O LORD! PLEASE, GIVE US THE GRACE TO ABIDE TO YOUR CONDITIONS SO THAT WE MAY DWELL IN OUR LANDS(Possess our Possessions) and be “FED” daily by you. Amen.

God bless you all…………
