Hindrances to Your Next Level in Life

Hindrances to Your Next Level in Life

Scripture: Numbers 14:2-3-KJV

And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this wilderness!

And wherefore hath the Lord brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt?

Reflection.

In connection with yesterday’s discussion, it’s critical to maintain a grateful attitude because it will help you advance to the next level. Unfortunately, the children of Israel were stuck in one place for a very long time because they did not understand what it meant or required to have the right attitude.

According to Psalm 34:1-4, one of the things we learn is to be grateful and to express gratitude. David said, “I will bless the Lord at all times, and my mouth shall continually bless the Lord.” A grateful person is a very strong person. You can escape from depression, resentment, and envy by being grateful. My personal experience has taught me that being thankful to your superiors at work can help you keep your job during layoffs because people value thankful people.

I want to share with you some obstacles to moving on to your next level today that you might want to think about or note.

HINDRANCES TO YOUR NEXT LEVEL

Grumbling, Murmuring, Accusing, Blaming, Complaining, Negative mindset, Depressed, Ridiculous, Cowards, Quarrelling, Strive, Ungrateful, Unthankful, Fault-finding, Impatient, discouragement in trials, impatient. Please read these scriptures (Numbers 20:2-6; Numbers 21:4-5)

These hurdles caused the children of Israel to stay in one place for a very long time. If we can realize that if we follow their example, we will stay where they did. The fact that Moses and Aron continued to pray for the children of Israel even when it was decided to destroy them is most important. Numbers 21:6 says that some of us should be grateful that someone is praying for us.

Another important lesson we should learn is to be grateful in all circumstances, not just for the good ones. God expects you to be grateful in the midst of any challenges you face because you are recovering from them more quickly than you anticipated. Although it is crucial to give thanks to God while going through the toughest challenges, God did not expect us to be grateful for them. If so, does it make sense?

My Final Challenge!

1- Consider your attitude towards your circumstances

2- Do we have the right attitudes that reflect our faith towards circumstances?

3- Do you have that of the Israelites or that of Jesus in Philippians 2:5- “”Let this mind be in you, which also was in Christ Jesus.”

4- If you have a good attitude, then we would get through our circumstances and challenges much faster.

Prayer.

Thank you, Lord! I understand now, why I need to be always thankful. Please, help us to remain being thankful always. We would always bless the Lord; and His praise shall continually be in our mouth, Amen.

Please share……….

Blessings……………
